Jacobo de Vera e2d68db2cf Merge pull request #271 from adjohnson916/master Ignore .netrwhist" until rtp ordering is fixed Because vundle modifies the directory that appears first in the rtp, some files that vim generates in the first directory in rtp end up in the vundle directory. This is a known issue in vundle but until it is resolved, ignore .netrwhhist when found in the vundle directory.		2013-03-15 16:35:18 -07:00

About

Vundle is short for Vim bundle and is a Vim plugin manager.

Quick start

Setup Vundle:

$ git clone https://github.com/gmarik/vundle.git ~/.vim/bundle/vundle

Configure bundles:

Sample .vimrc:

set nocompatible               " be iMproved
filetype off                   " required!

set rtp+=~/.vim/bundle/vundle/
call vundle#rc()

Install configured bundles:

Launch vim, run :BundleInstall (or vim +BundleInstall +qall for CLI lovers)

Windows users see Vundle for Windows

Installing requires Git and triggers Git clone for each configured repo to ~/.vim/bundle/.
