fix(rpc): assertion failure due to invalid msgpack input

Problem:
  rbuffer_consumed assertion fails if Unpacker fails to parse msgpack,
  because it doesn't consume bytes on errors

Solution:
  Call rbuffer_consumed_compact only if Unpacker isn't closed
