create direcotry

mkdir /opt/supserset/

install pip sudo apt install python3-pip -y

setup virtual environment

pip install virtualenv
# virtualenv is shipped in Python 3.6+ as venv instead of pyvenv.
# See https://docs.python.org/3.6/library/venv.html
python3 -m venv venv
. venv/bin/activate

install superset

pip install apache-superset

clone the default config file:

wget https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/master/superset/config.py -o supset_config.py

configure: https://superset.apache.org/docs/installation/configuring-superset/

export SUPERSET_SECRET_KEY=

superset db upgrade

create an admin user: superset fab create-admin

Create default roles and permissions superset init
